Caryl and Jim Tyberg
Caryl and Jim Tyberg: Jim is president and founder of We Encourage, Inc. Jim has recently retired as Executive Pastor for Pasadena Covenant Church in Pasadena, CA. and served in that role since retiring as General Manager from Biosense Webster, Inc., a Johnson and Johnson medical device manufacturer. Jim resides in Altadena, California with his wife Caryl, and they have two grown and married children who have provided 5 wonderful grandchildren to them. Jim and Caryl are committed to the ministries of Pasadena Covenant, its outreach locally, nationally and internationally; and enjoy opportunities to support fellow ambassadors for Christ.

John and Judy Wipf
John and Judy Wipf are co-founders of We Encourage, former proprietors of Archives Books, and co-partners at Wipf & Stock Publishers in Eugene OR. John and Judy have moved into retirement but are active members of Pasadena Covenant Church as well as in their new retirement community. They have launched their two daughters into adulthood. They joyfully and thankfully support the work of We Encourage. John serves as Vice President.

Jean Campbell
Jean Campbell is Secretary of We Encourage, Inc. She recently retired from several years of working for a global consulting company in their Los Angeles office. After retirement she moved from Pasadena to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, near the rural farming area where she grew up. Her life is blessed with two great brothers and six wonderful nieces and nephews (all of whom live too far away). She seeks ways for God to use her and We Encourage as the hands and feet of Jesus to those needing spiritual and practical assistance locally and globally. Jean has been blessed by a warm welcome at Valleybrook Church in Eau Claire, and is thankful for a congregation that seeks to live out Jesus in worship and service.

PJ and Katie Petersen
PJ and Katie Petersen joined We Encourage in 2022 where PJ serves as Treasurer. PJ and his wife Katie married in 2010 and live in Bend, Oregon with their three children. PJ has worked in the energy industry since 2006, currently managing operations for a prominent international energy trading corporation. Katie has had a heart for Africa since a trip to Sierra Leone while in college. She also studied Theology and Global and Urban ministry and is thankful for this opportunity to serve. In alignment with We Encourage’s mission, they desire to see Christian ministries well equipped and individuals supported in times of need. The Petersens attend The Fellowship of Bend church, serving both within the church and in their community.
